‘Nagammalin Manakkurippugal’ Malaysian Short Story Collection – A Psychological Study

‘நாகம்மாளின் மனக்குறிப்புகள்’ மலேசியச் சிறுகதைத் தொகுப்பு – ஓர் உளவியல் ஆய்வு

Abstract

‘நாகம்மாளின் மனக்குறிப்புகள்’ சிறுகதைத் தொகுப்பிலுள்ள சிறுகதைகள் உளவியல் கோட்பாட்டின்கீழ் திறனாய்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளன. இத்திறனாய்வின் முக்கிய நோக்கம், நாகம்மாளின் மனக்குறிப்புகள் சிறுகதைத் தொகுப்பில் காணப்படும் உளவியல் கோட்பாட்டினைக் கண்டறிவதாகும். இவ்வாய்வின் நோக்கங்கள் யாதெனில், ‘நாகம்மாளின் மனக்குறிப்புகள்’ சிறுகதைத் தொகுப்பில் காணப்படும் கதைப்பாத்திரங்களின் மன உணர்வை ஆராய்தல், நாகம்மாளின் மனக்குறிப்புகள் சிறுகதைத் தொகுப்பில் காணப்படும் சிறுகதைகளின் கருப்பொருள்களின்வழி எழுத்தாளரின் மன உணர்வை ஆராய்தல் ஆகியவை ஆகும். இது ஒரு பண்புசார் ஆய்வு. இவ்வாய்வுக்கான தரவுகள் யாவும் நூல்கள், ஆய்வுக்கட்டுரைகள் போன்றவற்றிலிருந்து கிடைக்கப்பெற்றவை. இந்த ஆய்வின் கண்டுபிடிப்புகள் யாவும் விளக்கவியல் முறையில் விவரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. இந்த ஆய்வில் ஐந்து வெவ்வேறான முதன்மைக் கதைப்பாத்திரங்களின் மன உணர்வுகள் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டன. அடுத்து, ஐந்து சிறுகதைகளின் கருப்பொருள்களின்வழி எழுத்தாளரின் மன உணர்வு கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டது. 

The short stories in the collection ‘Nagammalin Manakkurippugal’ have been analyzed under psychological theory. The main objective of this analysis was to identify the psychological theory found in the short story collection. The sub-objectives of this research was to explore the emotional state of the characters in the short story collection and to analyze the author's emotional state through the themes of the short stories in the collection. This research was carried as a qualitative study. All data for this research were obtained from books, research articles, and similar sources. The findings of this research are described in a descriptive manner. In this study, the emotional states of five different main characters were identified. Next, the author's emotional state was identified through the themes of the five short stories.
