The Usage of 'Ekaara Idaichol' in 'Natrinai'

நற்றிணையில் ஏகார இடைச்சொற்களின் பயன்பாடு

Abstract

எட்டுத்தொகை நூல்களில் முதலாவதாக இடம்பெற்றுள்ள நூல் ‘நற்றிணை’. ‘நல்’ என்னும் அடைமொழியும் அகப்பொருள் ஒழுக்கத்தைச் சுட்டும் ‘திணை’ என்னும் பெயரும் சேர்ந்து ‘நற்றிணை’ என்னும் பெயரால் இந்நூல் வழங்கப்படுகிறது. இந்நூல் வெண்பாவினால் முதலிடம் பெற்றுத் திகழ்கிறது. இந்நூலில் 9 அடி முதல் 12 அடிகள் வரையிலான 400 பாடல்கள் அமைந்துள்ளன. இந்நூலில் அமைந்துள்ள பாடல்களின் எண்ணிக்கை நோக்கி இதற்கு ‘நற்றிணை நானூறு’ என்ற மற்றொரு பெயரும் உண்டு. நற்றிணைப் பாடல்கள் அக்காலச் சமூகத்தை அறிய பெரிதும் துணைபுரிகின்றன. இப்பாடல்கள் வாழ்க்கையிலும் காதல் நெறியிலும் ஒழுக்க நெறியைச் சாற்றும் தன்மையன. இந்த ஆய்வு நற்றிணையில் காணப்படும் பாடல்களிலிருந்து ஏகார இடைச்சொற்களையும் பாடல்களில் அவற்றின் பயன்பாடுகளையும் விளக்கிக் கூறுவதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது. ஆய்வாளர் மொத்தம் எட்டுப் பாடல்களைப் பயன்படுத்தி ஏகார இடைச்சொல்லின் பயன்பாட்டை விளக்கியுள்ளார். மேலும், ஏகார இடைச்சொற்களின் வகைகளையும் பாடல்களில் அவற்றின் பயன்பாடுகள் பற்றியும் விளக்கியுள்ளார். நற்றிணைப் பாடல்களில் ஏகார இடைச்சொற்கள் தேற்றம், வினா, பிரிநிலை, ஈற்றசை ஆகிய நான்கு வகைகளில் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.

Natrinai is the first book from the Ettuttokai Compilation from the eighteen books of classical Tamil literature. The epithet 'Nal' and the name 'Tinai', which refers to subjective morality, are combined in this book by the name 'Natrinai'. This book has been ranked first by Venba. This book contains 400 poems ranging from 9 feet to 12 feet. There is another name for Natrinai called 'Natrinai Naanooru' in view of the number of poems in the book. The poems in Natrinai helps us to understand our society.  The poems in Natrinai teach us about moral in life and love. This study aims to find the verbs of ekaara idaichol in these four hundred poems and explain their usage. The researcher has found such verbs in eight places from the poems and explained their usage. She has also analysed the types of ekaara idaichol and the connection between the sections of the poems. There are four types in ekaara idaichol used in Natrinai poems. There are Thedram, Vinaa, Pirinilai,  Idrasai.
