Abstract

பழங்கால மக்களின் வாழ்வியலைத் தொகுத்து வழங்கும் தனித்தன்மை வாய்ந்தவை பழந்தமிழ் இலக்கியங்கள் ஆகும். அம்மக்களை நெறிப்படுத்துவதற்காகவே அறச்சிந்தைகள் உள்ளடங்கிய நீதி நூல்கள் எழுந்தன. அவ்வறநூல்கள் பதினெட்டில் ஆசாரக் கோவை இடம்பெற்றுள்ளது. அதன் அடிப்படையில் ஆசாரக்கோவையில் தனிமனித அறவியல் கோட்பாடுகளை இனங்காண்பதே இவ்வாய்வின் நோக்கம் ஆகும். தனிமனித மற்றும் சமுதாய வளர்ச்சி மாற்றங்கள் ஏற்பட வேண்டுமெனில் முதலில் தனிமனிதன் தன்னளவில் சீர்பட வேண்டும். அதன் வழி குடும்பம், சமூகம் என மிகப் பெரிய மாற்றத்தைக் காண இயலும் என்பது தெற்றென விளங்குகிறது. அந்தத் தன்மைகளில் பல்வேறு தனிமனித அற கோட்பாடுகளை ஆசாரக்கோவை முன் வைத்துள்ளன. தனிமனிதன் ஆற்ற வேண்டிய அறக் கோட்பாடுகளை வலியுறுத்தி அதன் வழி அவனை நெறிப்படுத்தியுள்ள பாங்கை உணரமுடிகிறது. இத்தகைய அறங்களால் தனி மனிதன் தன்னளவில் பண்பட்டு, சமூக சீர்கேடுகளிலுருந்து தன்னை விடுவித்துக் கொண்டு, பண்பட்டவனாய் வாழ்ந்து, சமுதாய நலன் பேணவும் முடியும் என்பதனை உணர்த்தியுள்ளன.

Ancient literature is a unique compilation of the life of the ancient people. Virtue books containing morals arose to discipline the people. Asarak Kovai temple is featured in eighteen of those books. Based on that, the purpose of this study is to identify the principles of individual ethics in Asarak kovai. If individual and social development changes are to occur, the individual must first improve himself. It is clear that through it, a great change can be seen in the family and society. Among those characteristics, various individual moral theories have been put before Asarak kovai. Emphasizing the principles of morality that an individual should follow; one can realize the manner in which he has been disciplined. With such virtues, it has been realized that an individual can cultivate himself, free himself from social disorders, live as a cultured person and maintain the welfare of the society.
