Similarity Thoughts of God Found from ‘Thirukural’ and ‘Vinnamutham’

‘விண்ணமுதம்’ மரபுகவிதைத் தொகுப்பில் காணப்படும் திருக்குறளின் இறை கருத்துகள்

Abstract

விண்ணமுதம் தமிழ்க்கவிதைத் தொகுப்பில் அடங்கியிருக்கும் கவிதைகள் யாவும் மொழி, குமுகாயம், இயற்கை, உறவுகள், இறை, காதல், வாழ்த்து, பல்சுவை போன்ற பொருண்மைகளை மையப்படுத்தி அமைந்துள்ளன. அவற்றுள் ‘இறை’ பொருண்மையில் அமைந்த கவிதைகள் மட்டுமே இவ்வாய்விற்கு உட்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன. திருக்குறளின் முதல் அதிகாரமான ‘கடவுள் வாழ்த்து’ இவ்வாய்விற்குத் தெரிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. இவ்வதிகாரத்தில் திருவள்ளுவர் இறைமையைப் பற்றியும், இறைவனின் ஆற்றலைப் பற்றியும், இறைவனை அடையும் வழிகளைப் பற்றியும் பத்துத் திருக்குறள்களின் வழி உலக மக்களுக்கு எடுத்துரைத்திருப்பார். அவ்வாறு இருக்கையில், கவிஞர் விண்ணமுதன் அவர்கள் வெளியிட்ட ‘விண்ணமுதம்’ எனும் மரபுகவிதைத் தொகுப்பில் உள்ள ‘இறை’ பொருண்மையின் கீழ் இடம்பெற்றுள்ள கவிதைகளில் காணப்படும் திருக்குறளின் ‘கடவுள் வாழ்த்து’ அதிகாரத்தின் கருத்துகளை ஆராய்வதே இவ்வாய்வின் நோக்கமாகும். இவ்வாய்வு நூலாய்வு அமைப்பில் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுப் பண்புசார் அணுகுமுறையை உள்ளடக்கி அமைந்துள்ளது. அதுமட்டுமின்றி, ஆய்வுக்குத் தொடர்பான திருக்குறள், தொல்காப்பியம், விண்ணமுதம், அவற்றோடு வேறு சில புத்தகங்களும், ஆய்வேடுகளும் ஆய்வுத்தரவுகளாகப் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன.

All the poems contained in the 'Vinnamudham' Tamil poetry collection are centered on subjects such as language, society, nature, relationships, God, love, wishes, and etc. Of these, only poems based on the subject matter of 'God' have been subjected to this study. The first chapter of 'Thirukkural', 'The praise of God', has been selected for this study. In this chapter, Thiruvalluvar would have explained to the people of the world about sovereignty, the power of God and the ways to reach God through ten 'Thirukkurals'. In that case, the purpose of this study is to examine the concepts of Thirukkural's 'The praise of God' chapter found in the poems contained under the subject of 'God' in the traditional collection of poems 'Vinnamutham' published by the poet Vinnamuthan. This study has been designed in a bibliographical setting and involves a qualitative approach. In addition to this, 'Thirukkural', 'Tholkappiyam', 'Vinnamutham', along with some other books and treatises related to the study have been used as research data.
