Error Analysis Study on The Level of Understanding of the Intonation of Traditional Poetry among Form 5 Tamil Literature Students

Abstract

இந்த ஆய்வில் மலேசிய நாட்டைச் சேர்ந்த படிவம் 5 தமிழ் இலக்கியப் பாடம் பயிலும் மாணவர்களிடையே மரபு கவிதையின் ஓசை நயங்கள் மீதான புரிதல் நிலையை ஆராயவிருக்கின்றது. படிவம் 5 தமிழ் இலக்கியப் பாடம் பயிலும் மாணவர்கள் மரபு கவிதைகளின் ஓசை நயங்களைப் பயில்வதிலும் அவற்றைக் கண்டறிந்து பகுத்தராய்வதிலும் சிக்கல் எதிர்நோக்குகிறார்கள். இச்சிக்கலை முன்னிருத்தி இந்த ஆய்வு 3 நோக்கங்களைக் கொண்டு எடுத்தாளப்பட்டுள்ளது. அவை படிவம் 5 தமிழ் இலக்கியப் பாடம் பயிலும் மாணவர்களிடைய மரபு கவிதையின் ஓசை நயங்கள் மீதான புரிதலைக் கண்டறிதல், படிவம் 5 தமிழ் இலக்கியப் பாடம் பயிலும் மாணவர்களிடையே மரபு கவிதையின் ஓசை நயங்களைப் பயில்வதிலும் கண்டறிவதிலும் எதிர்நோக்கும் சிக்கல்களுக்கான காரணங்களைக் கண்டறிதல், மரபு கவிதையின் ஓசை நயங்களைப் பயில்வதிலும் கண்டறிவதிலும் மாணவர்களிடையே ஏற்படும் சிக்கல்களைக் களைய தீர்வுகளைக் கண்டறிதல் என்பதேயாகும். மலேசிய நாட்டில் இருக்கும் தைப்பிங் வட்டாரத்திலிருந்து 20 படிவம் 5 தமிழ் இலக்கியப் பாடம் பயிலும் மாணவர்களும் 5 தமிழ் இலக்கிய ஆசிரியர்களும் இந்த ஆய்வில் ஆய்வு மாதிரிகளாக உட்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளனர். இவ்வாய்வானது அளவாய்வு அமைப்பில் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுப் பண்புசார் அணுகுமுறையிலும் அளவுசார் அணுகுமுறையிலும் எடுத்தாளப்பட்டுள்ளது. ‘Error Analysis’ கோட்பாடு இவ்வளவாய்வில் கையாளப்பட்டுள்ளது. மதிப்பீட்டுத் தாளும் Likert Scale மதிப்பீட்டுத் தாளும் இவ்வாய்வில் ஆய்வுக் கருவிகளாகப் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன. இவ்வாய்வின் முதல் இரண்டு நோக்கங்களின் தரவுகள் யாவும் மதிப்பீட்டுத் தாளும் Likert Scale மதிப்பீட்டுத் தாளும் மூலம் திரட்டப்பட்டன. ஆய்வின் மூன்றாம் நோக்கமானது 5 இடைநிலைப்பள்ளித் தமிழ் இலக்கிய ஆசிரியர்களை நேர்காணல் செய்து தரவுகள் திரட்டப்பட்டன.

This study investigates the level of understanding of the intonation of traditional poetry among Form 5 Tamil Literature students in Malaysia. Form 5 Tamil Literature students face challenges in analysing and learning the intonations of conventional poetry. Hence, this research incorporates three perspectives to address these challenges: evaluating the understanding level of intonation of traditional poetry among Form 5 Tamil Literature students, analysing the reasons for the difficulties faced by Form 5 Tamil Literature students in learning and analysing the intonation of Traditional poems, and identifying solutions to overcome these challenges. The study involves 20 Tamil literature students and 5 Tamil literature teachers from Taiping, Malaysia, as research samples and subjects. This survey research incorporated a mixed method research design and implemented the ‘Error Analysis’ theory. Questionnaires and the Likert Scale were used as research instruments to collect data for the research’s first and second objectives. Data for the third objective of the study was collected by having standardised open-ended interviews with 5 Tamil Literature teachers.
