Investigation of Literary Impact of Tamil Literature in Today’s Tamil Cinema Musicals

இன்றைய திரை இசைப்பாடல்களில் சங்க இலக்கியத் தாக்கம்

Abstract

பண்டைய காலத்தில் வாழ்ந்த தமிழ்ப் புலவர்கள் என்றும் அழியாத தமிழ் செய்யுள்களை இயற்றி பல  நல்ல கருத்துகளை வெளியிட்டுள்ளனர். தமிழில் உள்ள இலக்கியங்களில் மிகவும் பழமையானவை சங்க இலக்கியங்கள் ஆகும். சங்க இலக்கியங்களை அகம், புறம் என்று பிரிப்பர். பழைமையைப் புதிய கண்ணோட்டத்தில் எடுத்துச் செல்வது புத்திசாலித்தனம். அவ்வகையில், சங்க இலக்கியப் பாடல்களின் வரிகளையும் கருத்துகளையும் தங்களது திரை இசைப்பாடல்களில் புகுத்திய பெருமை திரைப்பட பாடலாசிரியர்களுக்கு உண்டு என்றே கூற வேண்டும். அவர்களில் முக்கியமானவர்கள்  கவியரசு கண்ணதாசன், கவிப்பேரரசு வைரமுத்து, வாலி என்று அடுக்கிக் கொண்டே போகலாம். எனவே, இன்றைய திரை இசைப்பாடல்களில் சங்க இலக்கியத் தாக்கம் எவ்வாறு அமைந்துள்ளது என்பதனை ஆராய்வதே இவ்வாய்வின் நோக்கமாகும். இவ்வாய்வு பண்புசார் (qualitative) அணுகுமுறையின் அடிப்படையில் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இன்றைய திரையிசைப்பாடல்களில் சங்க இலக்கியக் கருத்துகள் இடம்பெறுவதன் மூலம் இக்காலத்து மக்கள் பண்டைய காலத்து மக்களைப் போல் ஒழுக்கமாகவும் பண்புள்ளவர்களாகவும் திகழ்ந்து, சிறந்த வாழ்க்கை முறையைப் பின்பற்ற முடிகின்றது. மேலும், இன்றைய திரை இசைப்பாடல்களில் சங்க இலக்கிய வரிகளும் கருத்துகளும் இடம்பெறுவதால் இன்றளவும் சங்க இலக்கியங்கள் அழியாமல் மக்களின் மனத்தில் நிலைபெற்று உள்ளதைக் காண முடிகின்றது.

Tamil poets who lived in ancient times have written many immortal Tamil literatures and published many good ideas. The oldest literature in Tamil is the Sangam literature which divided into internal and external. Songs about love are said to be internal and songs that sing other messages besides love are called external. The introspection illustrates the love between lovers and exodus tells of the brave and duty of the king to the community. Although, The Sangam literature is primitive it cannot be completely dismissed as antiquated. It is wise to take antiquity into a new perspective. Thus, it must be said that film song writers are proud to have incorporated the lyrics and ideas of Sangam literary songs into their screen compositions. The most important of them are Kaviyarasu Kannadasan, Kaviperarasu Vairamuthu and Vali. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the literary impact of Tamil literature in today’s Tamil cinema musicals that enabling the people of today to be as moral and virtuous as the people of ancient times and to follow a better way of life. Furthermore, the presence of Sangam literary lines and ideas in today's screen music can be seen in the fact that Sangam literature is still alive in the minds of the people today.
