Abstract

இவ்வாய்வின் முதன்மை நோக்கம் திருக்குறளில் காணக்கிடக்கும் நீரியல் குறித்த தகவல்களை ஆராய்வதாகும். இவ்வாய்வு பண்புசார் அணுகுமுறையில் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இவ்வாய்வில் நூலாய்வு அணுகுமுறை கையாளப்பட்டுள்ளது. இவ்வாய்வின் வழி, திருக்குறளில் காணப்படும் நீரியலை அறிந்துகொள்ள வாய்ப்பாக அமைந்துள்ளது. இவ்வாய்வு திருக்குறளில் நீரியல் குறித்த தகவல்களை ஆய்வு செய்யும் முதல் கட்டுரை என்பதை ஆய்வாளர் உறுதி செய்கின்றார்.

The major objective of the research is to explore the hydrology in the text of Thirukkural. This research is designed in a qualitative approach. The library work is used for this study. This study is useful in teaching the younger generation about the the hydrology in the text of Thirukkural. The research claims to be the first such attempt to do a study regarding the hydrology in the text of Thirukkural of Tamils.
