மழலையர் சொல்வளம் பெருக்கும் மரபு கவிதைகள்

Abstract

மழலையர் பொதுவாக, பலமுறை கேட்டு அறிந்த சொற்களையே பேசுவர். உச்சரிக்கச் சுலபமான சொற்களையே மழலையர் கற்க முயல்வதால், இத்தகைய சொற்களே அவர்களின் பேச்சில் இடம்பெறக் காணலாம்.  குறிப்பாக, மழலையரின் மொழி வளர்ச்சி, மழலையர் பாடல்களின் (rhymes) வழி அதாவது பேச்சு ஒலிப்புகளில் இரட்டிப்புச் சொற்களைப் பயன்படுத்தும் பொழுது வளர்ச்சியடைகிறது (Andrews & Baker, 2019). அவ்வகையில், மரபு கவிதை அதாவது யாப்பிலக்கணத்தோடு அமையப்பெறும் கவிதைகள் மழலையரின் சொல்வளத்தைப் பெருக்குவதில் பெரும் பங்கு வகிக்கின்றன எனலாம். எனவே, மரபு கவிதை வடிவில் அமைந்த மழலையர் பாடல்களில் எத்தகைய சொல்லாட்சி இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன என்பதை அறிவது அவசியமாகும். ஆகவே, இக்கட்டுரை மழலையரின் சொல்வளம் பெருக்கும் மரபு கவிதைகள் எனும் தலைப்பில் படைக்கப்படுகிறது. மரபு கவிதைகளில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ள, சொல்வளத்தைப் பெருக்கக்கூடிய கூறுகளை அடையாளம் காணுதலும், அவற்றை விவரித்தலும் இக்கட்டுரையின் நோக்கங்கள் ஆகும். குழந்தைக் கவிஞர் அழ. வள்ளியப்பாவின் ‘சிரிக்கும் பூக்கள்’ எனும் மரபு கவிதை நூல் இக்கட்டுரையின் தரவுமூலமாகும். ஆழ் செயல்முறைக் கோட்பாட்டின் (processing depth theory) துணையுடன், பண்புசார் முறைமையில் இவ்வாய்வின் தரவுகள் பகுப்பாய்வு செய்யப்பட்டன. மழலையர் புரிந்துகொள்ளும் வகையில், எளிய சொற்களையும் மழலையரின் சொல்வளத்தைப் பெருக்கும் உத்திகளையும் பயன்படுத்தி, இக்காலப் படைப்பாளர்களும் மழலையருக்குரிய மரபுக் கவிதைகளைப் படைத்திட இக்கட்டுரை துணைசெய்யும்.

Children generally speak the words they have learned by listening repeatedly. As children learn to speak easily pronounceable words, these words can be observed in their speech. Specifically, children's language development occurs through the use of repetitive words in nursery rhymes, which contributes to the growth of their language skills (Andrews & Baker, 2019). As such, classical poems that are composed in accordance with poetic grammar have a significant role in enriching children's vocabulary. Therefore, it is essential to understand the word choice found in nursery rhymes that are structured in the form of classical poems. So, this paper is presented with the title “Classical Poems that Enhance Children's Vocabulary”. Identifying and describing the vocabulary-enhancing elements found in classical poems are the aims of this paper. The collection of poems titled "Sirikkum Puukkal" (Smiling Flowers) by the child poet Azha. Valliyappa serves as the data source for this article. The data of this study was analysed based on the Processing Depth Theory. This article will help contemporary authors to create rhymes for children in the form of classical poems, by using simple words that children can understand and also strategies to increase their vocabulary.
