Sangam literature songs are interpreted with truths that communicate with the mind. Tolkappiyar says that the truth of crying appears in the fourth place as disgrace, loss, agitation, and poverty. Due to agitation and flexion, light dimming, and loss of light occurs in the eyes, swelling occurs and the eyes are agitated and tears are released. In the Sangam literature, the words pasappu, pasalai, pasathal have been used to refer to eyes that are troubled and crying. As pasalai is associated with the organ called eye, the words pasalai, pasap, pasthal are used to refer to crying because the eyes are disturbed, and tears come out when those who love them leave. We can understand the crying in the feelings that emerge between the leader and the leader when there is a separation between them and after the separation, through Sangam literature songs such as Naṟṟiṇai, Kuṟuntokai, Aiṅkuṟunūṟu, Kalittokai, Puṟanāṉūṟu etc. Pasalai is a disease caused by the Talaivaṉ division to the Talaivi, as is known from the literature. However, in this article, Pasalai is associated with the organ called eye, so the words Pasalai, Pasal, Pasatal are used to refer to crying because the eyes are troubled and tearful when those who love them leave them. This review will be about crying in the numerical truths of traditional Sangha poems.
