Kambaramayanam, composed by Kamban, is regarded as a uniquely significant work in Tamil literary history. It provides profound insights that are highly relevant to an individual’s personal life. Furthermore, Kambaramayanam emphasizes moral integrity, righteous living, and unwavering adherence to ethical principles, making it an exceptional text filled with wisdom. The aim of this study is to analyze the grammatical elements noun participles and verb participles found in Kambaramayanam. This research is conducted as qualitative research, using explonary methods for the first objective and analytical methods for the second objective. Specifically, this study seeks to identify the usage of noun and verb participles within the epic. The Kambaramayanam comprises a total of 10,500 verses. For this research, the Surpanakha episode from the Aranya Kandam (Forest Section) has been selected. From this episode, 10 specific verses have been carefully chosen for analysis.
